Mint Mobile - 10% off
Mint Mobile is offering the iPhone SE and 3GB of LTE data per month for just $15 each. That's $15 for the phone and $15 for the service, or a total of $30 per month.
And, if you do the math out, $15 x 24 months = $360, so you're getting a nice 10% discount off the iPhone SE.
What also makes this deal interesting is you can pay for the service monthly too. Typically with Mint you buy a 3 month, 6 month, or 12 month plan where you pay for the service up front. Here, you can choose to pay for the phone and service with monthly payments.
The iPhone SE is locked to the Mint Mobile network. You can request to have it unlocked after 12 months of active service and it is paid off.
Visible - Get a $200 prepaid MasterCard
Visible is known for disrupting the industry with their unheard-of $40 unlimited data plan. Now, Visible is continuing to offer compelling deals with their latest iPhone SE discount.
First, Visible is offering $15 off the iPhone SE when you go to place your order. Then, after you pay for 2 months of service, Visible will issue you a $200 prepaid MasterCard. This effectively makes the cost of the iPhone SE just $184, or a 46% discount.
Only new customers are who transfer their phone number to Visible are eligible for this deal.
All Visible phones come unlocked, so if after 2 months you are not satisfied with their service, you are free to keep your iPhone SE and use it with another carrier.
Pure TalkUSA - $250 off iPhone SE with their 15GB or Unlimited plan
Pure TalkUSA has a great deal on the iPhone SE and their service right now. You can save $250 off the iPhone SE when you sign up for either Pure Talk's 15GB or Unlimited data plans. The discount is automatically applied at checkout.
What makes this deal especially appealing is that Pure TalkUSA is currently offering 25% off their plans for 3 months! This means Pure TalkUSA's 15GB plan, normally $45 per month, is now just $34 per month. Similarly, Pure Talk's unlimited data plan is discounted to just $41 per month from the $55 regular price.
Pure TalkUSA uses AT&T's network for coverage, and their current promotion is an excellent value.
Except... The iPhone SE will be locked to the Pure TalkUSA network for 24 months. And you are required to maintain your 15GB or Unlimited data plan after you sign up.
Pure Talk has a great deal, but it requires a bit of commitment.
Red Pocket - 6 months of free service included
Red Pocket is including 6 months of their 3GB plan on the AT&T network for free with the purchase of a new iPhone SE. You can also choose from Red Pocket's 1GB, 7GB, 15GB plan, or unlimited data plan. Regardless of which plan you choose, you'll get a discount on the service.
For an even greater discount, you can choose to sign up for either 12 months or 24 months of service and Red Pocket knock the price of the iPhone SE down by 18% and 25% respectively.
Monthly financing options are available through Affirm with Red Pocket. The iPhone SE will be locked to the Red Pocket network and is eligible to be unlocked after 12 months of service.
Cricket Wireless - $50 off iPhone SE
Cricket Wireless is offering $50 off the iPhone SE. What's nice is both new and current customers are eligible for this discount. Unfortunately the iPhone SE will be locked to the Cricket network, and with Cricket's $25 activation fee this is effectively only a $25 discount.
Still, it's a simple deal anyone can take advantage of. If Cricket's plans work for you (they have awesome family discounts), then I'd recommend considering this as an option.
Metro by T-Mobile - Get the iPhone SE for just $99*
Metro by T-Mobile has by far the best deal on the iPhone SE... but it also requires the most effort. To get this deal, you need to go to a physical store location. Considering most of us are staying safe at home right now, and the fact that many Metro stores are closed, this deal is more challenging to acquire.
If you are able to safely go to a Metro by T-Mobile store, then you'll need to either sign up for a new line or add a line to your existing account. Metro will give you $200 off the iPhone SE up front. Then, after 6 months you'll receive the remaining $100 via a prepaid MasterCard.
phew
That's a lot for a deal on an iPhone. But, it is a tempting offer. I think this deal is best for families or groups who can add a new line to their plan. Or hey, maybe you and your friends can create a new family plan and all switch to Metro?
T-Mobile - Get an iPhone SE for free*
T-Mobile also has a compelling offer on the iPhone SE! They are offering the iPhone SE for completely free! But of course, there's a catch.
First, you need to either sign up for a new account or add a line to your existing account. Then, you need to choose to finance the phone via one of T-Mobile's monthly financing options. Why? Well, the reason is because T-Mobile offers the iPhone SE for free by giving you monthly bill credits over a period of 24 months.
(Yay. That's what we all want. Monthly bill credits.)
Finally, you need to trade in an iPhone 7 or newer in good condition to be eligible to get the iPhone SE for free. This includes the iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8, or 8 Plus. If you qualify, you'll receive monthly bill credit each month to cover the cost of the device.
It's not my favorite deal, but similar with the Metro by T-Mobile deal I think this could be a good options for families looking to add a new line to their account.
Boost Mobile - $99 off all models
Boost Mobile is offering $99 off all iPhone SE models. That's a solid 25% discount on the base model. The only problem is that they are currently sold out! Check Boost Mobile's website soon to see if the deal is still available.
The iPhone SE will be locked to the Boost Mobile network. It will be eligible to be unlocked after 12 months of service. This deal is great for existing Boost mobile customers, or anyone looking to sign up for Boost and is willing to have their plan active for a year.
Sprint - iPhone SE for $5 per month ($190 total)
Sprint is offering a great deal on the iPhone SE with their Sprint Flex 18 month lease program.
The way it works is you can lease the iPhone SE for just $5 per month for a period of 18 months. That works out to just $90. After your 18 month lease period, you have two options: you can either purchase the device outright to own it, or you can exchange it for a new device on a new 18 month Sprint Flex lease program.
If you choose to purchase the iPhone SE outright, the cost is $83.35, brining the grand total to $173.35. That's an impressive 43% discount! After you purchase the device outright, Sprint will automatically unlock it for you. If you exchange the iPhone SE for a new phone, your new lease agreement will depend on which new phone you are getting.
This deal is only available with Sprint's postpaid unlimited plans.
AT&T - iPhone SE for $5 per month
AT&T matches Sprint's Flex lease agreement with their own AT&T Installment plan. Like with Sprint, the iPhone SE is just $5 per month. However, AT&T's lease is over a 30 month period, making the phone $150 total, and they also have restrictions on this deal.
To get the iPhone SE for $5 per month you need to add a line to a new or existing AT&T account. Then, you need to pay taxes on the full price of the iPhone SE. Depending on where you live that's somewhere around $25. Finally, you need to activate the iPhone SE one of AT&T's expensive postpaid unlimited plans, either their AT&T Unlimited Extra plan ($75 per month) or their AT&T Unlimited Elite Plan ($85 per month).
Oh, and to add to the cost AT&T will charge you a $30 activation fee. While some customers may consider this deal, in my opinion the extra cost of the expensive AT&T postpaid unlimited plans offset any potential savings on the iPhone SE.
Walmart - $200 instant cash discount for AT&T and Verizon customers
If you're a current AT&T or Verizon customer, definitely check out the iPhone SE deal available from Walmart. Walmart is offering an instant $200 cash discount on the iPhone SE, bringing the starting price down to just $199.
The best part about this deal is it works with all AT&T and Verizon plans. You don't need to add a new line, sign up for an expensive unlimited plan, or trade in your old device. You can just purchase the iPhone SE brand new with a $200 discount.
Apple - trade in your old phone for a discount
Purchasing the iPhone SE directly from Apple is one of my favorite options. The SIM-free model comes unlocked and will work on all plans and carriers. And unlocked phone means it isn't tied to any carriers or contracts (like most of these deals actually are), and gives you the freedom to switch plans at any time.
Current trade in values for older devices include up to $170 for an iPhone 8, $120 for an iPhone 7, $100 for a Galaxy S9, and $130 for a Pixel 3.
Swappa - 5% to 15% off
Swappa is an online marketplace for buying and selling gently used electronics. They currently have listings for the iPhone SE starting as low as $365.
I've used Swappa in the past to both sell my old phones and purchase new ones. I've had many positive experiences with them, so I recommend you check them out!
