Description
Lyca Mobile 5GB gives you 5GB of high-speed data on AT&T's network for $19 a month. It includes 4K video. You can use all of your data as a hotspot. It also includes free international calling and texting to 100 countries. Plus, you get unlimited talk and text in Canada and Mexico. For comparison, AT&T's own Value 2.0 plan costs $50 a month before taxes.
Paying upfront lowers the price: $6.50 a month for 3 months ($19.50 total), $11 a month for 6 months ($66 total), or $10 a month for 12 months ($120 total).
After 5GB, speeds slow to 128Kbps. Your data is deprioritized. Taxes and fees are extra.
If you can spend a little more, US Mobile Unlimited Starter Dark Star gets you unlimited data on the same AT&T network for $25 a month, taxes included.
Consider Lyca Mobile 5GB if: you use a moderate amount of data and call family or friends abroad.
