Optimum Mobile 1GB
Includes 1GB of high-speed data on T-Mobile's network with 480p streaming quality, no hotspot support, and optional add-ons for international calling, texting, and roaming in Canada and Mexico.
Taxes and fees not included
- 1GB high-speed, then 128Kbps
- 480p video streaming
- $20 to $50 int'l calling
We don't recommend Optimum Mobile 1GB for 1 line. There are similar plans with the same or more data at a better price.
Description
For $15 a month, Optimum Mobile 1GB gives you 1GB of high-speed data on T-Mobile's network.
After 1GB, speeds slow to 128Kbps. There's no hotspot. Video streams at 480p, and your data is deprioritized. Taxes and fees are extra.
If you need more data, our top pick is Mint Mobile Unlimited Annual: $30 a month when you pay for a year upfront, with a 20GB hotspot. If you'd rather pay month to month, Metro Unlimited $30 BYOD is $30 a month with taxes included.
Consider Optimum Mobile 1GB if: you use little data and want a very low monthly bill.
