The Ultra Mobile 40GB plan has deprioritized data. Having deprioritized data means you may temporarily experience slower speeds during times when the cellular network is busy. You'll resume getting the fastest speeds available when the network is no longer busy.
Overall, I do not recommend the Ultra Mobile 40GB plan. It is too expensive for the features and data you get.

The way international roaming works on Ultra Mobile is you add either $5, $10, or $20 of international credit to your account.
Then, minutes, texts, and data that you use while abroad are deducted from your international balance at pay-per-use rates. Common rates are $0.25 per minute, $0.05 per text sent or received, and $0.20 per MB. Keep in mind that $0.20 per MB is equivalent to $200 per GB, which is quite expensive. You may consider other options for international data.
