Here is my step-by-step guide on how to transfer your Total eSIM, with pictures.
Here is a video tutorial and step-by-step guide on how to transfer your Total Wireless eSIM from your old phone to your new phone.
This guide works if you want to move your eSIM from:
Let's get into it.
Step 1: Download and install the MyTotalWireless app (iPhone | Android) on the phone you want to transfer your eSIM to.
Step 2: Sign in to your Total Wireless account.
Step 3: Tap "My Lines."

Step 4: Find the line you want to transfer to your new phone. Then tap "Upgrade Phone."

Step 5: The next screen asks what type of device you want to activate. Since you are activating a phone, scroll down and tap "Phone." You may see other devices that have previously been activated on your account. You can ignore those.

Step 6: Verify your phone is on Wi-Fi, has enough battery, and that the software is up to date. Then scroll down and tap "Continue."

Step 7: Enter your new phone's IMEI. You can find your IMEI in your phone's settings.
Pro Tip: You can often tap and hold to copy your phone's IMEI. Enter the IMEI in the Total Wireless app and tap "Continue."

Step 8: Total Wireless will ask if you want to keep your number or get a new one. Select "I want to keep mine," and enter the phone number you want to transfer along with your ZIP code. Then, tap "Continue."

Step 9: Total Wireless will text the phone number you entered a verification code to authenticate the eSIM transfer. Enter the code and tap "Verify."

Step 10: The app will ask if you are ready to connect. Tap "Continue."

Step 11: You will get a notification that an eSIM from Verizon Value is ready to be set up on your phone. Tap the notification and follow the prompts to install your eSIM.

If you don't see the notification and you are an iPhone user, simply go to your settings app and you should see message at the top that says "Set Up Cellular." Tap on that and follow the prompts to install your eSIM.

If you don't see the notification and you are an Android user, simply go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs > Add SIM, and your phone should automatically detect that an eSIM from Total Wireless is ready to be installed on your phone.
Step 12: Verify your service is working by running a speed test, making a phone call, and checking to see that you can send and receive text messages.
Here are some additional settings I always like to check once I've transferred an eSIM to a new phone:
That's it!
I hope this guide was helpful and you were able to get. your Total Wireless eSIM successfully transferred to your new phone.
