Description
Gen Mobile 15GB gives you 15GB of high-speed data on AT&T or T-Mobile coverage for $30 a month. It comes with a 10GB hotspot. It also includes free international calling to over 100 countries. Prepaying brings it down to $27 a month for 3 months ($81), $25.50 a month for 6 months ($153), or $24 a month for 12 months ($288).
After 15GB, speeds slow to 128Kbps. Your data is deprioritized. Taxes and fees are extra, and there's a $39 activation fee.
Want unlimited data for less? US Mobile Unlimited Starter Dark Star is our top pick, with unlimited data on AT&T's network for $25 a month, taxes included.
Consider Gen Mobile 15GB if: you use a moderate amount of data and call family or friends abroad.
