Description
Gen Mobile 8GB Annual gives you 8GB of high-speed data on AT&T or T-Mobile coverage for $16 a month when you pay $192 for 12 months upfront. It comes with a 5GB hotspot. It also includes free international calling to over 100 countries.
After 8GB, speeds slow to 128Kbps. Your data is deprioritized. Taxes and fees are extra, and there's a $39 activation fee.
If you can spend a little more, US Mobile Unlimited Starter Dark Star gets you unlimited data on AT&T's network for $25 a month, taxes included.
Consider Gen Mobile 8GB Annual if: you use a moderate amount of data, call family or friends abroad, and can pay for a year upfront.
