Description
Metro 6-Month Unlimited BYOD gives you unlimited data on T-Mobile's network for $20 a month when you pay $120 for 6 months upfront, with taxes and fees included. It's for new Metro customers who bring their own phone. Metro's regular price for this plan is $40 a month, and it comes with a 5-year price guarantee on talk, text, and data. You can add an unlimited tablet line for $20 a month or a smartwatch line for $10 a month. For comparison, T-Mobile's own Essentials plan costs $60 a month before taxes.
Traveling? Add 5GB of data in Canada and Mexico for $5 a month, or international calling for $10 a month.
There's no hotspot, and video streams at 480p. Your data is deprioritized, and after 35GB it's deprioritized further.
For the best value on the same T-Mobile network, our top pick is Mint Mobile Unlimited Annual: $30 a month when you pay for a year upfront, with a 20GB hotspot. If you'd rather pay month to month, Metro Unlimited $30 BYOD is $30 a month with taxes included.
Consider Metro 6-Month Unlimited BYOD if: you're new to Metro, have your own phone, and can pay for 6 months upfront.
