Pure Talk is a prepaid cell phone carrier known as a mobile virtual network operator, or MVNO.
An MVNO is simply any cell phone carrier that does not operate its own cellular network.
Instead of building their own networks, MVNOs make agreements with the four big carriers to use their cellular networks for coverage.
In Pure Talk’s case, it uses the AT&T network for coverage.

Pure Talk offers a total of seven prepaid cell phone plans to choose from. Prices range from $20 per for 2GB to $65 per month for 60GB of data and 25GB of hotspot data.
Unfortunately, the $20 2GB plan is only available with two or more lines.
Each plan comes with a set amount of high-speed data each month. After you use all of your high-speed data, you get unlimited data at 256Kbps. That is not very fast, but still fast enough to stream music and load some web pages, with patience.
You will never be billed for any data overage charges on Pure Talk.

PureTalk offers discounts for families where they can save up to 20% on their monthly bill.
New customers can also get their first month for 50% off here.
PureTalk also offers a referral program. For each person you refer, you both get $20 of bill credits applied to your account. You receive your credit after your friend completes their second month of service.

Yes, Pure Talk offers three plans for tablets. You can get 2GB of data for $10, 5GB of data for $20, or 10GB of data for $30.
All of the tablet plans also support the mobile hotspot feature so you can share your data with your other devices.

PureTalk supports visual voicemail, picture messaging, Wi-Fi calling, VoLTE, mobile hotspot, 5G access, and eSIM.
There is also an add-on you can purchase for international calling.
If you’d like, you can also purchase a phone directly from Pure Talk. Pure Talk offers a wide selection of popular iPhones and Android phones to choose from. If you select the $45 20GB plan or higher, then you will get an instant $100 discount on a phone you buy from Pure Talk.
What is also nice is that phones purchased from Pure Talk are unlocked. This means that if Pure Talk doesn’t work for you for whatever reason, like if AT&T coverage isn’t good in your area or you need international features, then you can take your Pure Talk phone and use it with a different carrier.
Pure Talk does offer stateside international calling with an international calling add-on. The way it works is you purchase a $10 international calling card, and then your international calls will deduct from this $10 balance on a pay-per-minute rate based on the country you are calling.
To enable international calling, you need to contact Pure Talk customer service at (877) 820-7873 to purchase the $10 international calling card.
Unfortunately, there are no options for international texting or international data roaming at this time.
Pure Talk offers a $10 international calling card to make calls from the U.S. to foreign countries.
Make calls from the US to other countries. In order to make an international call, you will need to purchase a $10.00 International PIN by calling in to our Customer Service Department. This PIN is valid for 30 days, or until the balance has been used, whichever comes first.
