US Mobile is a prepaid cell phone carrier known as a mobile virtual network operator, or MVNO.
An MVNO is simply any cell phone carrier that does not operate its own cellular network.
Instead of building their own networks, MVNOs make agreements with the four big carriers to use their cellular networks for coverage.
In US Mobile’s case, it uses the Verizon or T-Mobile networks for coverage.
If you are curious to learn more about how the agreements work between the big carriers and the small carriers, check out my article on how some cell phone plans can cost so much less than others.

Yes, US Mobile supports both international calling and international data roaming. The included and add-on features that are available to you depend on a) which US Mobile plan you are on and b) which US Mobile network you are on, either Dark Star (AT&T), Light Speed (T-Mobile), or Warp (Verizon).
Thankfully, US Mobile does a pretty good job breaking down all their international features on their international data roaming page.
You can use the search tool on the page to see if the countries you are visiting are included on the different networks. As a pro tip, you can even use US Mobile's network transfer tool to switch your line to a network that includes free roaming in the countries you plan to visit.
You can reach US Mobile customer service by calling (878) 205-0088, by emailing them at help@usmobile.com, or by using the live chat feature on the US Mobile website and mobile app.
